Color palette generation by observing minerals under different colored lights.

Mineral is a solid chemical compound that occurs naturally in pure form. They are most commonly associated with rocks due of the presence of the minerals within rocks. In geology and mineralogy the term ‘mineral’ is usually reserved for mineral species- crystalline compounds with a fairly well-defined composition and a specific crystal structure. And a crystal or crystalline solid is a solid material whose constituents (such as atoms, molecules or ions) are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all direction.
Based on what causes color in Minerals, they are divided into two categories-
1. Idiochrometic Minerals- These minerals possess color because of reflection of light or luminescence and fluroscence.
2. Allochromatic Minerals- These minerals posses color because of charge transfer and impurities.
